The ascendance of the human species is due more than anything else to the ability of our minds to understand and control the conditions of life. Today, as we cross the threshold of inventing life itself, the world we're creating is presenting us with challenges that could be our downfall if not met with ingenuity and creativity.
Education is our best hope for addressing these challenges, for there is not a single problem facing the human race whose solution is not rooted in education. In recognition of this, the Marshall McLuhan Center seeks to promote excellence in our educational systems.
