Submission Criteria
Please note: The Center is not currently accepting applications for awards
All applications should include on-line experiences that have one of more of the following characteristics: engaging instructional practice; promote critical thinking; or develop higher order thinking.
Applications should meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Has developed innovative on-line learning environments that improve student achievement.
2. Has developed an on-line course, which uses concepts in communication, culture and technology to address state academic content standards.
3. Has incorporated the Internet and creative and diverse methods of using technology to support learning strategies.
4. Has established an on-line learning environment in a classroom in which students experiment, question and utilize the Internet appropriate to the information age and the concept of global learning.
5. Has developed innovative uses of the Internet as a tool for on-line learning and on-line collaboration.
6. Has provided new concepts and innovative on-line learning strategies that use the Internet well, helps teachers teach, and students master academic content standards.
7. Has developed an on-line learning environment that fosters information literate, self-directed autonomous learners.
8. Has developed video and/or multimedia resources to facilitate learning and/or teaching via the Internet.
